Apps That Help ("we," "us," or "our"), a brand of Decal Venue, Inc., operates appsthathelp.com and a collection of apps across iPhone and the web, including Spilled, Baseball Scorebook, Pool Clarity, Mokkup, CutContour, Promptular, and HOA Newsletter Generator. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Individual apps may also have their own privacy details on their App Store listing or website that add to this policy.

Information We Collect

When you create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In, we receive a basic identifier from Apple or Google and, depending on what you allow, your name and an email address (which may be a private relay address). We use Sign In with Apple and Google rather than passwords, so we never see or store a password for your account.

Much of what you create in our apps is stored on your own device. Some apps sync your data to our servers so it is available across your devices and backed up; this varies by app. When you make a purchase or start a subscription, payment is handled by Apple on iPhone or by Stripe on the web. We never receive or store your card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain our services, process purchases and subscriptions, and respond to support requests. We may send you essential service messages related to your account or purchases. We do not send marketing emails or run a mailing list, and we do not sell your personal information.

We rely on a small set of third-party services to operate our apps: Apple Sign In and Google Sign In for authentication, Apple and Stripe for payment processing, RevenueCat to manage purchases and subscriptions, Resend for our own administrative email notifications, Cloudflare for DNS and security, and Vercel for hosting. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Because we use Apple Sign In and Google Sign In, we do not handle or store account passwords. Data synced to our servers is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Your Rights

You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from within any of our apps that use accounts. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers. If you need assistance, contact us and we will process your request promptly.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
